Who We Are

The idea behind Emily & Evan came after I developed an interest in candle making when I was on maternity leave from work with my youngest child.  What started out as a hobby has turned into a business venture for me and which is something  that I am so excited and passionate about.  

You may wonder why "Emily & Evan" I chose this because they are the names of my two children and there is nothing more important to me than my family.  All of our candles are lovingly made by hand and prepared in our family kitchen in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne.  When using our products I hope you get that warm homely feeling.
